The Museum of Cretan Ethnology, taking advantage of community and national resources, undertook the promotion 
of Cretan traditional society on the Internet within the framework of the state program "Information Society".

The interest shown by this society is obvious as it preserved its typical cultural features and the ancient 
memories of its ancestors over the years, despite the 700 years of continuous occupation suffered by Venetians 
and Turks.
